# Adding a subdomain to a website on hosting.com Managed WordPress

On hosting.com Managed WordPress, every domain or subdomain is a new website and counts towards your total number of sites. For this reason, if your current plan does not include enough website slots, you must upgrade to a plan that supports additional websites before adding another domain or subdomain.
