# Sending marketing emails in OpenCart

Email marketing is vital for keeping customers informed about new products and discounts. [OpenCart](https://hosting.com/hosting/platforms/opencart-hosting/) allows you to send emails to groups of subscribers. This article describes how to send marketing emails to different user groups.

## Configuring marketing emails in OpenCart

To send marketing emails  to customers in OpenCart, follow these steps:

1. Log into OpenCart as an administrator.
2. On the **Dashboard** in the left sidebar, click **Marketing**, and then click **Mai** l:\\

3. In the **To** field, select the recipient groups from the drop down to send the marketing emails:\\

4. Add a title of the email, message, and click on the **Envelope** button to send the message:\\
