# Setting up Edison Mail on Android

> Set up Edison Mail on Android to access your hosting.com email with our step-by-step guide.

This article demonstrates how to set up the Edison Mail app on Android to access a hosting.com e-mail account.

To configure Edison Mail to work with your hosting.com e-mail account on an Android device, follow these steps:

1. Start Edison mail.

2. Select whether or not you want to grant Edison Mail access to your contacts, photos, media, and files:\

3. Tap **Other**:\

4. On the **Add Other Account** page, in the **Email** text box, type the e-mail address of the account you created in cPanel:\

5. In the **Password** text box, type the password for the e-mail account you created in cPanel.

6. Tap the **Advanced Settings** slider:\

7. In the **Hostname** text box, type*mail.example.com*, where ***example.com*** represents your domain name:\

8. Leave the **Username** text box empty.

9. Confirm the **Port** text box is set to **993**.

10. In the **Security** list box, tap **SSL/TLS**.

11. In the **Hostname** text box, type*mail.example.com*, where ***example.com*** represents your domain name:\

12. In the **Username** text box, type the e-mail address of the account you created in cPanel.

13. In the **Password** text box, type the password for the e-mail account you created in cPanel.

14. In the **Port** text box, type `465`.

15. In the **Security** list box, tap **SSL/TLS**.

16. Tap **Login**:\

17. Tap **Continue**:\

18. Tap **Go to my Inbox**:\

19. Tap **Accept** or **Decline** to participate in Edison Trends:\

20. Edison Mail downloads any messages in the account, and the inbox appears:\
