# Using Elasticsearch with Magento

This article discusses using the Elasticsearch search engine with Magento.

* Managed VPS

* Managed Dedicated server

  If you have an unmanaged VPS, you have root access to the server and complete control over the operating environment. This enables you to install, configure, and maintain Magento and Elasticsearch yourself.
