# Overview of .BR Domain 

The .BR domain is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Brazil, managed by [Registro.br](https://Registro.br).

## Information Required

To complete your .BR domain registration, the Brazilian registry requires:

1. **CPF or CNPJ number** of the domain holder
   * **CPF** – for individuals
   * **CNPJ** – for companies and organisations
2. **A valid Brazilian address** – street address, city, state and postal code (CEP).

## Nameserver Requirements

Valid, working nameservers are required by Registro.br before the domain can be registered. Please provide the nameservers you wish to use when placing your order.
