# Overview of .NET.SG Domain 

The .NET.SG domain is a second-level domain under Singapore's .SG ccTLD, reserved for network and hosting service providers.

## Eligibility

Applicants for .NET.SG domains must be one of the following:

1. **Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) licensees** – e.g. SBO individual licensees, FBO licensees, or other licensees providing connectivity or value-added network services.
2. **Providers of network-based data hosting services** – such as email hosting. DNS hosting providers, web hosting providers and data centres may also apply under this category.

## Domain Name Requirements

* The applied name must reflect and be substantially linked to the applicant's principal business and/or company name.
* The domain must be used mainly for conducting the applicant's said business.
