Do you support Varnish?

Varnish is a web application accelerator that uses caching to improve server performance. You can install Varnish on a number of hosting.com servers.

Varnish Cache (often called simply "Varnish") is a web application accelerator that uses caching to improve server performance, particularly during periods of increased site traffic.

If you have an unmanaged hosting account, you can install and configure Varnish yourself.

We do not support Varnish on managed hosting accounts. However, we have two packages that offer equivalent, if not better, performance benefits for managed hosting customers. Best of all, we take care of the configuration for you. There is no need for you to edit and maintain complicated configuration files, as with Varnish.

To supercharge your managed hosting account's performance, consider the following packages:

  • Turbo Boost and Turbo Max Web Hosting: Turbo Web hosting servers include a number of modifications to accelerate and optimize web performance.

  • Turbo Boost: Turbo Boost is an add-on option for certain types of hosting accounts. It uses a drop-in Apache web server replacement to provide significant performance boosts.
