Please note: We do not provide .CN domains to individuals, organisations or legal entities located in mainland China (with a Chinese country code).

Required Documents

Individuals Outside China

  • A scan or photocopy of an official document proving the registrant’s identity. A driver’s licence is not accepted.

Companies and Organisations Outside China

  • A scan or photocopy of the business licence, business certificate, or an extract from the commercial register.
  • The name of a responsible contact person within the company/organisation, along with a copy of their passport or ID in JPEG format. A driver’s licence is not accepted.

Registrants from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan

The following documents are accepted:
  • Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents
  • Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents
  • Residence Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents*
  • Residence Permit for Taiwan Residents*
  • Permanent Residence Identity Card for Foreigners*
* For these documents, both the front and back must be provided.
