Updating your account's primary domain name
You can change the primary domain name associated with your web hosting account, and this article explains how.
You can change the primary domain name associated with your Shared hosting account. Before you do this, please make sure that the new domain is not currently set up as an addon domain or parked domain. To avoid downtime, make sure the new domain is ready to work with the server before requesting the change. See this article for details.
When you are ready to switch your account to the new domain, open a ticket at https://my.hosting.com and we will make the change.
Important
Changing an account's primary domain name affects any e-mail accounts that were configured on the previous primary domain. For example, if you change the primary domain, existing e-mail accounts change to the new domain. If you were to re-create the previous primary domain as an addon domain, you would have to manually copy files to reconstruct the e-mail accounts as they were before.
