Managing post tags in WordPress

One of the tools you can use to group your posts based on similar content or categories is WordPress tags. To manage tags in WordPress effectively, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your WordPress site with an administrator account.

2. On the Dashboard in the left sidebar, click Posts, and then click Tags:
   

3. There are options to create and edit tags on the Tag settings page:
   

4. Enter a name, a slug, and a description for a new tag, then click the Add New Tag button:
   

5. To edit an existing tag, scroll down the list of tags or use the search option to find an existing tag:
