Finding SSL certificate fingerprints
Learn how to easily find fingerprints or thumbprints for SSL certificates using your preferred web browser.
It is easy to find the fingerprints, sometimes called thumbprints, for certificates by using a web browser. This article contains instructions for finding fingerprints with several popular web browsers.
Google Chrome
To view the fingerprints for an SSL certificate in Google Chrome, follow these steps:

At the left side of the browser's address bar, click the icon.

Click Connection is secure.

Click Certificate is valid.

On the General tab appear the fingerprints.
Mozilla Firefox
To view the fingerprints for an SSL certificate in Mozilla Firefox, follow these steps:

At the left side of the browser's address bar, click the padlock icon.

Click Connection secure.
-
Click More Information.

Click View Certificate.

Scroll down to the Fingerprints section.
Microsoft Edge
To view the fingerprints for an SSL certificate in Microsoft Edge, follow these steps:

At the left side of the browser's address bar, click the padlock icon.

Click Connection is secure.

In the pop-up dialog box, click the Show certificate icon.

On the General tab appear the fingerprints.
