The India Goods and Services Tax (GST) and hosting.com
On July 1, 2017, India implemented a Goods and Services Tax (GST) on electronically supplied services sold by foreign entities to customers located in India. The GST tax rate is 18%. To comply with Indian tax laws, we apply the GST rates to customers based in India.
If your purchase is exempt from tax, please open a billing ticket at https://my.hosting.com and provide your India GST number so we can exclude GST.
Note
Hosting.com does not include GST in the prices we display on our web site. Instead, GST is charged and itemized separately on invoices. For information about how to view and manage your invoices in the Hosting Panel, please see Managing billing in the Hosting Panel.
